THE THIRD TEXTILE DESIGN STUDY IS DEVOTED TO TIME.
Maybe it is one of the most exciting questions of our time: the time. Many of us have the feeling to have less and less time. Time seems to be more and more compact, accelerated but at the same time many technical advances promise us time-saving. But, where is it gone? Of course time is also past, present and future. Or one year, one week, one day, one hour. Can we translate time visually or haptically? How to translate a day into a textile interior concept?
The newest design study CREATE TIME gives answers! It shows unprecedentedly with 4 mood worlds whats typical about day times in textile colours, designs, patterns and structures.
The work therefore began often early in the morning and ended up in the deep of the night. But it was worth: Many thanks to colleagues from design studios, airlines and architects for so many nice and creative feedbacks from all over the world. Time is somehow international as well.
