The impressive acoustic properties already found in all ANKER carpets can be enhanced even further with SonicWave. It is a densely compacted acoustic fleece layer that not only offers 4–5 times the sound absorption of conventional carpet backing, but also enables considerably improved footfall sound insulation. This is confirmed by the test reports of Schall- und Wärmemessstelle Aachen GmbH (VMPA soundproof testing centre pursuant to DIN 4109), who certified that all SonicWave products feature sound absorption in accordance with DIN EN ISO 354:2003 and footfall sound insulation in accordance with ISO 140-8.
