TURNING DOWN THE VOLUME IN MODERN WORKING ENVIRONMENTS
With SonicWave, outstanding interior design is not only visible, but audible too. Spacious rooms, materials such as steel, concrete and glass, as well as open-plan or semi-open-plan layouts, dominate the design of modern office spaces. These features are all easy on the eye and good in terms of visual perception, but often cause problems when it comes to acoustics. Textile flooring with ANKER’s very own SonicWave technology is an excellent absorber of sound, thus making it possible to save the additional costs and planning associated with room acoustics.
The impressive acoustic properties already found in all ANKER carpets can be enhanced even further with SonicWave. It is a densely compacted acoustic fleece layer that not only offers 4–5 times the sound absorption of conventional carpet backing, but also enables considerably improved footfall sound insulation. This is confirmed by the test reports of Schall- und Wärmemessstelle Aachen GmbH (VMPA soundproof testing centre pursuant to DIN 4109), who certified that all SonicWave products feature sound absorption in accordance with DIN EN ISO 354:2003 and footfall sound insulation in accordance with ISO 140-8.
The result is a huge improvement in room acoustics and therefore the working environment. Peace and quiet – so that ideas, thoughts and fruitful discussion can flourish.
